Born on November 10, 1948 in Karlovac, Croatia.
Graduated B.Sc. of engineering, a varied healer, a poet, a prose writer and a painter.
PAINTER
Since 1984 has been intensively engaged in fine arts activities, starting as a student of Professor Bogomil Karlavaris. During 1986 attended numerous drawing and painting courses and collaborated with fine arts' educators. Took part in several fine arts workshops and was a member of a number of painting associations. Presently a member of The Fine Arts Association "Kozala", Rijeka.
Uses oil colors, watercolors and pastel.
Topics ranging from cycles of littoral landscapes, nudes, still lives to those of abstract and expressive characteristics. Also drawings and graphic works.
From March 9 to the end of 1998 was a member of Artistic Club "Pjetao" ("The Cock") and a member of the so-called "Rijeka s Montmartre" board program at Trsat, in charge of fine arts' section. Organized, led, staged and cooperated in opening of about 25 exhibitions (cafes: San Antonio, Trsatika, Jelusic and Street; presentation of 34 fine artists' works). Participated in over a hundred collective and made 30 single exhibitions in Rijeka and other cities. Has published and illustrated a number of books.

How do we concentrate on ourselves? The most easily - when isolated. Alone, separated from others, in a quiet room, with eyes closed, we deeply breadth in and out about 10 times, our back straighten up, leaving our thoughts, feelings and all the aspects of our psychical life to flow freely. Then we open our eyes and take a look at a painting.
This instruction represents also an action preceding our meditative approaching to the observation of the painting. By observing our surrounding, the painting in front of us, we observe our inner life, as well. Even that cognition is sufficient to weaken the power of our unhappy experience. Thinking about us, about the painting, about each detail and color should not last too long. It might be just a quick glance at our deep sigh, at our heart beating fast, at an aggressive thought our collocutor has developed about us, or at our own idea that has disturbed us in a minute. And right on, we continue to inspect what's going on at the picture. Such a constant shifting of attention to and from the picture/ourselves is just like a kind of a double life living. In an instant we recognize the two worlds: the outer and the inner ones.
